"Jacquot-Bateau" is a well-equipped cruiser that I recommend for a couples first Sea of Cortez yacht purchase. It has lots of room with two cabins and two heads. The deck space is immense and she is as capable as she is comfortable.
This is the second Irwin of this model that I have been entrusted to brokerage. The owner of the first Irwin is happy with his purchase and learned to sail and cruise on her.

"Anestina Was built by Destrier in LeHavre, France as an offshore cruiser from plans drawn up by J.P. Chevrier – Marine Architect.
Sailed transatlantic and cruised east coast of North & South America before crossing through Panama to the West Coast. She was purchased in Vancouver in December 2015 from the original owner.
After an extensive refit between January 2016 and April 2019 by the present owner, she departed Vancouver in 2019 to cruise the Pacific Northwest coast to Alaska and Haida Gwaai via the B.C. Inside Passage. She was then sailed, both single handed and with crew, down the Pacific West Coast via Cabo San Lucas.

" Lai Holokai" is a fast-passage maker with a comfortable sea-kindly motion. Considered to be the “little sister” of the legendary Cal 40, she is stiff and has an easily driven hull form that performs extremely well on all points of sail. She has a good turn of speed and yet is very forgiving. Running downwind, she doesn’t have the same squirrelly tendencies of many IOR-era and wide-beam cruising boats . All in all, she is a pleasure to sail and is confident and sure-footed in rough weather and can be easily steered by autopilot in following seas.
The vessel has been meticulously maintained, refitted, and updated over the years. She is outfitted for coastal and offshore cruising, and is set up to sail short-handed by one or two people. There are custom features both below decks and on deck and all sail handling systems lead to the generous oversized cockpit.
